GLOBAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Model programs and innovation in bridge-building and replication world-wide, creates the world we want.

Catalytic Communities
Catalytic Communities (CatComm) supports community organizers globally through our website www.catcomm.org where we develop the Community Solutions Database (CSD) along with other networking and capacity-building tools. The CSD is an online database featuring grassroots community-generated solutions to social and environmental problems, ranging from HIV to hunger, illiteracy to sewerage.

The Global Fund makes grants to seed, strengthen and link women's rights groups based outside the United States working to address human rights issues.

Grantmakers Without Borders
Grantmakers Without Borders, a philanthropic network, is dedicated to increasing funding for international social justice and environmental sustainability and to improving the practice of international grantmaking. Grantmakers Without Borders provides capacity-building support to international grantmakers both novice and experienced. We offer a space for education, community and collaboration among international social change grantmakers. We advocate before policymakers on behalf of social change grantmakers, and we work to leverage the philanthropic sector to increase funding to the global South. In all our efforts, Grantmakers Without Borders is committed to the ideals of justice, equity, peace, democracy, and respect=2 0for the environment. We value and respect the wisdom and experience of local communities in all their diversity, and we are dedicated to amplifying the voice of the global South in international philanthropy.

Synergos
Synergos builds and supports networks of leaders engaged in efforts to reduce poverty and increase equity around the world. We work with these philanthropists and civil society leaders, as well as with community-based groups, businesses, governments, foundations and international organizations, to make sustainable systems changes that enhance the opportunities for and help meet the needs of those who are poor and marginalized.
