Q. Can I use the Youth Giving logo?
A. Yes, you can use our logo, and you can download it from our media page in two different sizes.
Q. I have some questions I don't see answered in the FAQ, can you help me?
A. Yes, we will answer questions. Send them to info@inspiredlegacies.org. We are a small organization with traveling staff, and part-time and a virtual, multi-city, national team. We aim to be responsive. If we are not back to you within 48 hours on weekdays and within 72 hours on weekends, then email again or call us at 415.377.9447.
Q. Is this a pilot? And what does that mean?
A. Yes this IS the pilot phase. It means for nine months or roughly til May of 2010 we will be improving these tools with the help of 5 organizational pilot partners. See the text on our YouthGiving page for more information. Pilot Partners receive 10 hours of our coaching in exchange for monthly feedback over 6-9 months of running their youth giving circles. Then we will rework, making it even better before reissuing.
Q. Are you collecting or sharing my email or registration?
A. NO we will NOT use your email or registration for anything BUT Youth Giving Circle announcements, trainings and requests for support for our collective efforts. We will publicize a subscription based private site later in 2009 and early 2010. All registered will be asked if they want more tools and tips from all of our Inspired Legacies work. You can opt in or out, easily.
Q. Can I download the materials and share them freely?
A. Yes, you can download and use our PDF's, BUT do not please use them without giving us full credit. This is for our collective future. Please be respectful of all the effort we have gone to and all that we will be doing to improve things for our next generation of givers.
Q. I found something that can be improved. Can you fix it?
A. Yes, we will welcome all feedback, criticism included. We will have made mistakes. We may have not thanked all who contributed or have also been at this for years. We apologize in advance. We are a learning organization and are eager to right any errors or omissions or places of confusion. And we welcome your ideas, though we may not be able to integrate all of them. Tracy Gary is the Executive Director of Inspired Legacies. She is responsible for execution and also she is responsible to the Board of Directors of Inspired Legacies. Q. Will you help fund our work?
A. Please do not request funding from Inspired Legacies. We are not an agency that funds. We grow great donors and their leadership. And produce tools and training for our sector.

A. Please send emails to info@inspiredlegacies.org including your phone number, email and contact name, and we will forward them.

Q. I would like to contribute, how can I do that?
A. If you would like to help us keep this project going... click on FUNd Forward and make a donation of any size. We seek at least $25k in order to expand our capacity to move this into the world. Every penny helps us do that.
Q. The Youth Giving Circle we are doing is going to generate revenue. What can we do?
A. If you are going to make money from doing any trainings, we ask you to contribute and to help us pay it forward so we can keep producing great tools for our sector. May you be inspired to give generously as we try to as well.
Q. Do you have special tools for Girls Giving Circles or Boys Giving Circles?
A. Stay tuned, on our subscription based-site we will have extra tools you can use such as these. We are working on them now. Just send us an email that you want to know about them when ready.
Q. If we credit you, who do we credit?
A. Please credit Inspired Legacies, our nonprofit knowing that we would not be able to do this without our funders and without the entire team who have made this possible, especially Karen Payne and Sondra-Shaw Hardy, our co-authors.
